Job Description & Duties Regional Sales Manager, SE Asia
Rite-Hite, a worldwide leader in the manufacture of dock levelers, industrial doors, dock seals and shelters, and other industrial equipment, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast Asian Market. This position will be based in Singapore and requires frequent and extensive travel throughout the region. This position will start with extensive training in the US while also traveling to the various markets in the region. This will be followed by permanent relocation to Singapore.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities
• Coordinate all regional sales functions and maximize sales in all Asian markets (except China) through effective management and development of sales channels.
• Meet and exceed sales budget and maximize profit margin generated through the sales of new equipment and aftermarket products within the assigned region.
• Ensure repeat sales through the development of positive long-term relationships with major customers throughout the region.
• Ensure that established sales goals for representatives in the region, and for the region as a whole, are reached or exceeded.
• Identify potential representatives and establish new representation as needed in each market.
• Train representative sales personnel on Rite-Hite’s products and sales strategies.
• Serve as a liaison between representatives and Rite-Hite on strategic issues and problem resolution.
• Assist representatives in closing large projects and managing global accounts, including coordinating efforts between representatives.
• Assist representative principals and sales managers in developing strategic plans for growing sales of Rite-Hite products in their areas.
• Work with company product marketing personnel as necessary to develop marketing materials specific to the needs of representatives in the region.
• Be in the field approximately 50% of the time, generally traveling in Asia.
• Foster the ongoing development of principals and sales managers to ensure that Rite-Hite philosophies on quality and customer service are promoted in each representative and that each maintains the highest degree of professionalism and quality.
Job Requirements Qualifications
The selected candidate will have a 4-year college degree, MBA preferred and 5 or more years’ related experience in the sale of industrial capital goods. Prior experience traveling in the region and familiarity with local business culture and customs will be very helpful.
